Affiliate program

Open to anyone (customer or non-customer), our affiliate program is a quick and easy way to make some cash while helping your favourite hosting provider.

How it works

1. Signup to our affiliate program, it's quick and free (existing customers don't need to do this).
2. Put a link (such as http://www.webfaction.com?affiliate=your_username) on your web-site.
3. Visitors to your site click on that link, come to our site and signup for one of our hosting accounts. We register that new customer as one of your referrals.
4. Each month we send you 10% of what your referrals spent with us during the previous month. The money can be sent to your PayPal account or credited to your WebFaction account if you have one.

Affiliate links

In order to send potential customers to our web-site and have them listed as one of your referrals, all you have to do is use the following link on your website:

http://www.webfaction.com/signup?affiliate=your_username

Note that you can also send them to any other page by just adding ?affiliate=your_username to the URL. For instance:

  http://www.webfaction.com?affiliate=your_username
  or:
  http://www.webfaction.com/services/hosting?affiliate=your_username

Terms and conditions

Excess spamming of your referral link to web-sites, blogs or forums hurts you, those sites and us so please post responsibly. Do not post your referral link to more than 5 sites, blogs or forums a day. You may not bid on WebFaction-related search keywords. Anyone violating any of these rules will be banned from our affiliate program.

Payments are made on the first business day of the month, provided that your balance is $20 or more.

The referral must have a different physical address, e-mail address and credit card number from the referrer.
